Our Programs
Jericho House offers retreats for adults
and youth of all faiths on leadership
and social justice, annual conferences
focussed on ecological justice and special peer-ministry-led retreats for youth.
Adult and Youth Retreats
Adult retreats at Jericho House are developed together with a specific group, such as Catholic parishes, school staff, or multi-faith communities, to ensure that the retreat meets the needs of the group. Adults from the local community help provide leadership for work with small groups.
Adult retreats provide a comforting space within which a person can reflect on their own personal and professional life. The retreat nurtures the capacity for trustworthy relationships, the ability to listen and be present, and provides a model to live and lead authentically.
Retreats for Youth
Sacrament of Confirmation Retreats
For Catholic youth preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation, Jericho House offers a special retreat, using peer-ministry-led experience for young people. The retreat focuses on giftedness, community building, justice awareness, and deeper involvement in the life of the Church. The preparation for the Confirmation program is offered as a one-day or two-day retreat.
